Wingedfoot is the iPhone companion to a Wingedfoot home or business appliance. It requires one; without an appliance the app has nothing to connect to.
Check that the phone has internet access and the appliance is powered on. The joining phone does not need Tailscale or another VPN. If the problem persists, ask your operator to check the member and public-front health; do not send anyone your access credential.
Invitations intentionally last no more than two minutes and can be used once. Ask your administrator to make a new QR code, scan it, compare the match code on both screens, and wait for approval.
That's on purpose if you spoke — interrupting stops it. If it stops on its own repeatedly, the connection is dropping; see above.
Force-quit the app and reopen it; the conversation re-loads from the appliance. If the transcript view stays empty, the history route on the appliance may be down — tell your admin.
Say "Hey Siri, talk to VIX" (or "…talk to Wingedfoot"). Make sure Siri is enabled for the app in iOS Settings → Apps → Wingedfoot → Siri.
Install it and pair the new phone with a fresh QR code. Your history and agent memory remain on the appliance. A built-in or custom avatar choice is currently local to each phone, so choose it again on the new device.
Open Settings → Agent. Built-in portraits or a local photo change immediately. A voice change is saved to your own member on the appliance and applies on the next call; it does not change anyone else's agent.
Email info@soundsidedesign.com with the app version (Settings shows it) and what you saw. Don't include your voice key. TestFlight users can also send feedback straight from TestFlight — screenshots help.
